Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies has over 10,000 exotic sea creatures that span over 350 individual species. Even though the aquarium is hundreds of miles from the ocean the natural beauty that the seas creatures and sea life radiate the place. A truly magnificent experience it’s a must see when you visit the area.

I think this might be one of the best attractions in the area…especially if you have kids!! We go every year that we are in town and we absolutely enjoy every minute of it. It has so much to offer that you can’t see everything in one day so most people see the whole thing in a couple day period. It is usually pretty packed with tourists which is the worst part but it’s expected. It’s a place you have to stop by if you’ve never been to it!! It’s really cool!
My kids had one of the best times in their lives when we took them to the aquarium! They enjoyed the shark exhibit and walking through the tunnel of sharks. There were to many things that they liked so we went back the next day to catch it all. I definitely think that everyone should check it out and enjoy a day their with the family. We are looking forward to coming back to the area and going to the aquarium again.
